California wildfires: gales constitute’ extreme chance’ for Los Angeles

Wildfires blazing through California have entered the heart of Los Angeles as approvals warned of an” extreme flaming danger” across the city.
Firefighters in the affluent Bel-Air neighbourhood battled to save multimillion-dollar estates in the road of the ignites, which have destroyed homes near the Getty museum in America’s second largest city.
Video and photographs posted on social media presented hillsides above busy roads covered in flames, rows of homes reduced to ash, and firefighters spraying ocean on walls of volley.
The largest blaze, the Thomas fire, has dealt more than 95,000 acres, destroying more than 150 the house and peril thousands of others in Ventura, about 50 miles (8 0 km) north-west of Los Angeles.
