Kia Rio 3-door 2012 — Following the success of the all-new Kia Rio 5-door hatchback which have gained positive media coverage around the world (already arrives in dealer showrooms across Europe), Kia is now celebrating the world debut of the new 2012 Kia Rio 3-door model at the event 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show. The new Kia Rio 3-door 2012 is specially designed for the European customers, expanding the appeal of Kia's latest B-segment model and aimed to attract a new group of consumers.
With the similar key dimensions as the 5-door model: Length 4,045 mm — Width 1,720 mm — Height 1,455 mm — Wheelbase 2,570 mm, the new Kia Rio 3-door also retains the same low roofline (one of the lowest in Kia's European product range), strengthen its sporty character and stance. In most European markets, the new Kia Rio 3-door will be offered with the similar range of powertrains, equipment and feature options as the 5-door, and will offer a choice of four highly efficient three-cylinder and four-cylinder engines, generates 75 to 109 ps power range.
The Kia Rio 3-door 2012 can accelerate to 62mph (100 kph) in just 11.5 seconds and able to reach its top speed of 183 kph (114 mph). The economic fuel consumption will be as low as 3.2 litres per 100 km (88.2 mpg) with the recently introduced EcoDynamics diesel model. The new 2012 Kia Rio 3-door will be offered in a choice of up to 10 body colours - White, Black, Bright Silver, Signal Red, Fresh Beige, Electronic Blue, Deep Blue, Wendy Brown, Graphite and Caramel Yellow.
