Peugeot 4008 2013 — The all new 2013 Peugeot 4008 will be launched to international market as one of Peugeot's range enhancement and development strategy, while represents 70% of the sales. Featuring its distinctive, stylish design and its 4x4 SUV technology, the new Peugeot 4008 2013 become a modern response to customers demands of all-terrain vehicle. The all-terrain SUV's world market has been strongly grows since 2005, and the company's ideal response to these market changes is by presenting the new 2013 Peugeot 4008 in world première at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, which will be scheduled on sale in international markets from 2012 second quarter.
Although the 2013 Peugeot 4008 was born of the PSA - Mitsubishi project venture, this new SUV has a strong Peugeot character identity, such as its floating grille design and its lamp units with visual signature design, LED daylight running lamps complementing the headlamps, as well as the three red claws sculpted rear lamps. To emphasize its off-road character, the 2013 Peugeot 4008 adopts a vertical grille design and body sill protectors along with prominent wheel arch protection trims accommodating large wheels enhanced by the wheel rims design. Furthermore, its almost-horizontal bonnet and its style line are another distinctive stylish feature accentuating the strong and dynamic aspect of the Peugeot 4008.
The design work is continued down to the smallest detail on its interior as well, enhanced by the material choices such as the soft texture fascia, instrument panel visor, the center console with lacquered black finish. Also a glass panoramic roof supplies an extensive light to the occupants cabin and which also supplemented by the side LEDs for night/dark light illumination for reading. Rooted in the compact SUV world, the new Peugeot 4008 boasts many exclusive features and equipments, including the Open & Go system, 18" alloy wheels, a touch screen navigation system, reversing camera, and many more.
The 4WD version of Peugeot 4008 is offering three transmission modes which can be selected by the driver: "2WD" for the two-wheel drive mode, "4WD" for the four-wheel drive mode, and "LOCK" for locking of the four-wheel drive mode. In the 4WD and LOCK mode, the torque distribution between front and rear is electronically governed, while in the LOCK mode, the four-wheel drive transmission is set to permanent, with greater torque distribution to the rear wheels. And there will be four engines variants available for the new 2013 Peugeot 4008; Petrol engines: 1.6l 85 kW (116hp) / 152 Nm - 5-speed manual, and 2.0l 113 kW (150hp) / 198 Nm - 5-speed manual or CVT; HDi Diesel: 1.6l HDi FAP 82 kW (112hp) / 270 - 280 Nm with overboost - 6-speed manual, and 1.8l HDi FAP 110 kW (150hp) / 300 Nm - 6-speed manual.
