It took many years for Mariska Hargitay to heal from her appalling past.

At age 3, the Law& Order: Special Victims Unit adept lost her baby, actress Jayne Mansfield, in a 1967 gondola accident that too killed Mansfield’s driver Ronnie Harrison and solicitor Sam Brody.
