Over the last two decades, a staggering 77 American high school actors have died as a result of playing football.

A much larger number died from effects, such as football exasperating a preexisting medical condition.

Seven croaked this past season, 5 in 2014, and eight in 2013.

In of the past three years, more high-school football players succumbed as a direct result of playing video games than NFL actors did throughout conference history.

High-school football fatalities reached a flower of 26 in the year 1968 alone.

On a balmy Florida night in August 2008, 15 -year-old wide receiver Taylor Haugen was smash in his abdominal field by two defensive musicians at once. Nine days later he died of what is known as” second wallop syndrome” the devastating impact a brand-new concussion can have when a prior concussion hasn’t amply healed.

I try not to dwell. If we dwell on the sting and indignation, it’s going to make it worse for everybody.You never know what tomorrow will bring. The Lord has a reason for everything. Perhaps Dylan’s life was meant to glitter a light on the seriousness of concussions.

During a Friday night game near Atlanta in 2013 Deantre” Tre Tre” Turman fatally ruptured his third vertebra during a routine tackle.

Hes one of the best girls Ive ever dealt with in my 18 years of coaching, date, hands down. He was quiet, but ever smiling. He had a real good spirit. It was always yes sir , no sir. He experienced his squad, and he cherished his teammates. Just a great kid.

In September 2013, sixteen-year-old Damon Janes of Brocton, NY succumbed of intelligence traumata after a helmet-to-helmet crash. Some have alleged he was wearing a substandard helmet.
